Server Rules

Network-wide rules and punishment guidelines

These rules apply across the SpawnerSMP network, including the Minecraft servers, official Discord server and other official SpawnerSMP community spaces. By using these services, you agree to follow these rules and the SpawnerSMP Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Chat & Behaviour

Treat other players reasonably. Spam, excessive toxicity, harassment, hate speech, threats and other seriously disruptive behaviour are not permitted.

Typical punishment: Warning → 1 hour mute → 1 day mute → 7+ day mute or ban.

2. Inappropriate Content & Impersonation

Nicknames, custom ranks, tags and other player-created content must be appropriate. Do not impersonate staff or deliberately mislead players into believing you represent SpawnerSMP.

Typical punishment: Content removed + warning → 1 day ban → 7 day ban → permanent ban.

3. Cheating & Prohibited Automation

Do not use hacked clients, X-ray, prohibited macros, scripts or other tools that provide an unintended gameplay advantage.

Automation specifically permitted by SpawnerSMP is allowed. For example, using an auto-clicker where the relevant feature explicitly permits auto-clicking is not cheating.

Typical punishment: 1 day ban → 7 day ban → 30 day ban → permanent ban.

4. Bug Abuse & Bug Reports

Finding a bug will not get you punished. Reasonably testing a bug to confirm that it exists is also allowed, provided you do not continue using it for unintended gain or cause unnecessary damage.

We reward uniquely reported bugs. If you discover a valid bug that has not already been reported, report it through the appropriate SpawnerSMP support channel. Depending on the significance of the bug, SpawnerSMP may provide an in-game reward for a valid unique report.

Knowingly and repeatedly abusing a bug for unintended gain is prohibited.

Typical punishment: Warning and/or rollback → 1 day ban → 7 day ban → 30 day or permanent ban depending on severity.

Deliberate duplication is treated separately under the rule below and does not receive this escalation.

5. Duplication & Serious Exploits

Deliberately duplicating items, currencies, entitlements or other assets is zero tolerance.

Deliberately using a serious exploit to cause substantial economic, technical or gameplay damage may be treated the same way.

Punishment: Permanent ban + removal of illegitimate gains.

6. Scamming & Payment Abuse

Do not scam other players, deliberately deceive players during trades, engage in unauthorised real-money trading, use stolen payment methods, commit payment fraud or knowingly make fraudulent payment disputes.

Confirmed deliberate scamming or payment abuse may result in a permanent ban. Payment-related abuse may additionally result in a permanent store blacklist.

A legitimate refund request, chargeback, unauthorised-payment report or exercise of your legal consumer rights is not payment abuse.

7. Server & Security Attacks

Do not attack, deliberately crash, DDoS, compromise or attempt to gain unauthorised access to SpawnerSMP systems. Deliberately creating severe lag or using technical vulnerabilities to damage or disrupt the network is also prohibited.

Punishment: Permanent ban + permanent network/store blacklist.

8. Punishment Evasion

Do not use alternate accounts or other methods to bypass an active mute, restriction, ban or blacklist.

Evasion may extend the original punishment and may result in additional associated accounts being restricted or banned.

9. Moderation

The punishment times above are guidelines, not fixed requirements. Staff may increase, decrease or skip stages depending on severity, intent, scale, previous offences, cooperation and attempts to evade punishment.

These rules cannot cover every possible form of misconduct. Something does not automatically become acceptable simply because it is not specifically listed.

SpawnerSMP may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect the server, its player

Moderation may apply across SpawnerSMP services where appropriate. Behaviour on the official Discord may result in action against an associated Minecraft account, and serious Minecraft rule violations may result in action against Discord access.

Purchasing a Rank or any other product does not provide immunity from moderation.

10. Appeals & Reports

If you believe a punishment was issued incorrectly, or you need to report a player, bug, exploit or security problem, open a ticket through the official SpawnerSMP Discord server.
